Educational Workshops

Consistent with our mission, we provide educational and learning opportunities with youth, parents, leaders, and community organizations that relate to our areas of expertise in individual and family well-being, educational attainment, and social and economic mobility. Specific topics will vary by audience and the time frame for collaboration. Single workshops or ongoing workshops may be available. In general, topics include strategies for youth and family empowerment such as development of community connections, critical consciousness, and holistic wellness. Specific topics may include: healthy relationship skills, parent-child conversations about race/ethnicity, contemplative practices, work-life balance and burnout, cultural competence, school-community intersections. Additional program services will be available in the near future based on community feedback. If you have thoughts of suggestions for programs or services you would like to see available, please contact our Center staff.
